Movement is not just physical; it involves psychological factors such as beliefs, fear, and motivation. This has paved the way for growing interest in mind-body interventions.
Yoga, an ancient practice combining physical postures (asanas), breath control (pranayama), and meditation, has emerged as a popular choice. While countless individuals report benefits, and individual Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) offer support, a global clinical recommendation requires the highest level of evidence synthesis. This is the mission of a Cochrane Systematic Review.
